Summer Shows in Coffs

Luke Young • January 30, 2023

The atmosphere and ambiance of Coffs’ coastal outdoors feed into the energy and excitement you’ll feel seeing powerful performances from Aussie’s best musicians this February. From Summer Salt to By the C & a slew of Jetty Theatre shows, here’s a write-up of what's worth booking in for the month of February!

By the C

No introduction is needed for such a mighty line-up. We’re talking about the “Working Class Man” of famously high-energy, JIMMY BARNES, himself! Or the band behind hit songs such as “Touch”, “Hot Chilli Woman” and “Take Me Back” with several top 10 albums and singles on our charts, Noiseworks!

The mighty ensemble features:

-      JIMMY BARNES

-      THE LIVING END

-      NOISEWORKS

-      BABY ANIMALS

-      THE SCREAMING JETS

-      THIRSTY MERC

And the venue is our beloved Park Beach Reserve. So, book your tickets and learn more with this link. Show starts Sat 18th Feb.

Summer Salt

Also in the beautiful Park Beach Reserve, you can indulge in Angus & Julia Stone, City And Colour, The Rubens and more! This event is all about fresh music by salty waters, contrasting to By The C’s flavour of powerful classics. It’s a perfect place to see the stars under the sun, for those summer memories and polaroid pictures!

Here’s the line-up:

-      ANGUS & JULIA STONE

-      BEN HARPER

-      CITY AND COLOUR

-      THE RUBENS

-      MIDDLE KIDS

-      ALEX THE ASTRONAUT

Here’s that link to learn more and book. Event is on Sat 11th Feb.

Jetty Theatre

If intimately set theatre shows from touring and local talent are more your vibe, then don’t skimp on the slew of shows at Jetty Theatre.

Here’s a sampling of those shows:

-      The Kings of Country Rock Tour (Feb 4 & 5): featuring salutes to America’s number 1 country rock legends in a two-hour spectacular. Expect to hear The Eagles’ iconics as well as tunes from Creedence Clearwater’s bag, too!

-      Abba and The Bee Gees Tribute Show (Feb 11): combining Abba Re-Bjorn and The Ultimate Bee Gees for a one-off “disco night” collating 5 decades of super hits. It’s a high octane 2-and-a-half hours from musicians with well over 2000 performances under their belt!

-      Firebringer The Musical (Feb 15-24): meet Jemella and her stone-age friends as they overcome a lurking predator, surviving the elements, and harnessing a revolutionary new invention… Fire!
