It’s definitely true what they say about breakfast being the best (and of course, most important) meal of the day! No matter who you are with or where you are, there is always something special about being waited on, particularly in the warm sunny weather of the mid mornings on holidays. We’ve put together a list of the best brunch hot spots in the area for when you are next staying with us at The Observatory, we guarantee you will not be disappointed!

  • Supply Specialty Coffee & Bar
Positioned just off the main Jetty strip, this café is always popular with both the locals and visitors for very good reason! Supply takes the coastal café experience to the next level, offering suburb coffee and a delightfully different menu, this place is bound to be a favourite holiday hotspot.

  • Old Johns
Set on the top end of the Jetty Strip, this comfortable and quaint café is oh so charming with its funky collection of furniture and laid-back style. Old Johns will often have a line out the door and a crowd on the street so be sure to get in early for a seat on the deck or opt for their classic takeaway brekky roll and cruise down to the beach. Perfect!
  • Shearwater
This iconic café is all about location, location, location! Take the short 10-minute walk to The Promenade and arrive at Shearwater Restaurant. If you’re looking for a relaxed atmosphere and $12 brekkie specials, this is the place! Shearwater overlooks the stunning Coffs Creek so be sure to book a table on the deck to make the most of the picturesque waterfront views.
